Better find another superstition.

Baby, you’re a haunted house
Better find another superstition
We’re gonna stay in love somehow
‘Cause, baby, you’re a haunted house now

And your heart will stay forever
When your last remains are few
In the dark we dance together
And I’d like to be waiting with you

Oh, baby, you’re a haunted house
Better find another superstition
We’re gonna stay in love somehow
‘Cause, baby, you’re a haunted house now

And the nights, they last forever
And days are always making you blue
In the dark we laugh together
‘Cause the misery’s funny to you

Oh, baby, you’re a haunted house
Better find another superstition
We’re gonna stay in love somehow
‘Cause, baby, you’re a haunted house now

I’ll be the only one who likes the things you do
I’ll be the ghost inside your head when we are through
Sometimes you scare me, but I come around to you
I’ll say hello hello hello
And I’ll find a way to scare you too

Baby, you’re a haunted house
Better find another superstition
We’re gonna stay in love somehow
‘Cause, baby, you’re a haunted house now

Oh, baby, you’re a haunted house
Better find another superstition
You better go and take a bow
‘Cause, baby, you’re a haunted house
Baby, you’re a haunted house
Baby, you’re a haunted house now

There are 18 études arranged in three books or Livres: six Études in Book 1 (1985), eight in Book 2 (1988–1994), four in Book 3 (1995–2001). Ligeti’s original intention had been to compose only twelve Études, in two books of six each, on the model of the Debussy Études, but the scope of the work grew because he enjoyed writing the pieces so much.[2] Though the four Études of Book 3 form a satisfying conclusion to the cycle, Book 3 is in fact unfinished, in that Ligeti certainly intended to add more,[3] but was unable to do so in his last years, when his productivity was much reduced owing to illness. The Études of Book 3 are generally calmer, simpler and more refined in technique than those of Books 1 and 2.
